26 July 2004
Well, things have been going really great recently, I havn't gotten really mad or angry in a LONG time, and well, thats unusual for me. Well, we don't have to worry about that anymore!
I love my Explorer, it rocks.
Ford service however does not. Freshman year I took my baby to Crossroads Ford to get a regular service, or maybe to get the inside back door handle fixed (b/c people pull too hard when its LOCKED!) so when i went to pick it up, the power antenna was broken. (STILL IS) I immediately noticed this and brought it to the attention of the people working there. They said the service manager who had been in charge of my car was not there but they would let him know. He did not call me. I called him and left a angry message. He did not call back. When it was time for service again I called and talked to the same guy who claimed he never got my message and did not remember and would do nothing to help fix the situation. I told him I would not be getting my car worked on at Crossroads Ford again, and that I would not be buying my next Ford from Crossroads.
So I started taking her to Capital Ford again.
So tonight i went to pick it up and surprise surprise, it wasn't ready, even though they told my dad it would be.
So after killing an hour we come back to get it, and guess what...
There is a centimeter long blue mark on the door. Looks like paint or crayon, and won't come off with water. I ask them if they have anything to clean it off. All they have is carpet cleaner. Cool. Idiots. I ask what it could be, and how it could have gotten there. He says "looks like crayon" I ask if he knows how it could have gotten there, "could have been a kid in the parking lot" JACKASS. What a moron. Useless. Cool, my baby has a blue mark on her side. Well one of my babies.
Why don't the idiots respect my car? Do they not realize that we pay a lot of money for these things and we want them treated carefully? Not to mention we want timely service. If you mess something up, you fix it. Commonsense, but not at Ford. I bet Henry Ford would have fixed something if he broke it. I mean this is the man who invented the assembly line that we are talking about here. Well I hope he is rolling over in his grave b/c of the shitty ford service centers in raleigh and cary.
I need to find somewhere else to take my car where I get it back in BETTER condition than it was in when I dropped it off, isn't that the idea of getting your car serviced??
ASSHOLES.
Damn, I forgot how good it feels to be angry every now and then. Haha thanks ford.
At least we know its still me and I did not get abducted by aliens and replaced by a more mild-mannered Clay who doesn't get angry.
Oh well.
The weekend was fun, thanks to Lexus for the pimp ride. and to Katie for the fun weekend. Too bad I can't remember anything Saturday night after getting in the cab...
