The DKE houses are officially gone (both of them), Feeley officially lost his wallet, we officially lost to unc, I am unofficially sick, and officially tired of the losing games we should win, oh, and I officially hate unc, and especially rashad mccants, not because hes a good player, he didnt exactly torch us tonight, although he didnt play bad, but because hes such a bitch.
Bitchass of the day: Rashad McCants
But, I'm going snowboarding now, so maybe that will take care of everything.

Still nasty and rainy outside.
Today, Darryl Hunt was finally exonerated. 20 years after the rape and murder of Deborah Sykes, a crime that DNA evidence showed was committed by another man, who has now admitted his guilt and claimed to have been the only assailant, Darryl Hunt who has been in jail for most of the last 20 years was finally released, and for good, as the judge ruled that Mr. Hunt can never again be tried for this crime. Sykes' parents still blame Mr. Hunt for their daughter's death. His original conviction was based on shaky evidence, including the testimony of a known and admitted KKK member.
Ten years ago, DNA evidence proved that Darryl Hunt did not rape Deborah Sykes, meaning that at the most, he was an accessory to the rape and an actor in the murder, and at best that he had absolutely nothing to do with the attack. Most would think that this DNA evidence alone would surely be enough to warrant a re-trial, but the court disagreed. It was not until the real rapist and murder, a man named Brown was discovered last year by ordered DNA testing and matching which found Brown's DNA within the database was a match, after which he confessed to the crime.
Please, read the story, educate yourself, stay up to date, do your part to be informed.
Darryl Hunt
No man should spend 20 years in jail for a crime he did not commit.

It feels like I'm holding a funnel up to my face, and the farther out I look, the more possibilities and questions I see. But I guess that can be a good thing.
For all of you State fans who want to rub it in that you beat Wake, go ahead, I probably deserve it, but just remember, we beat you in football when you were supposed to be all big and bad.
Congrats to Josh Howard who had the #5 play on sportscenter for a SICK follow dunk yesterday. Good to see J-Ho doing well, even if I didn't get his autograph.

At this point, it is too early for me to react to that game.
Quotes Of The Day: "Yeah, but there's no way we're coming back." -Brian Lopatka at half-time last night.
"haha, they should have healed 3 times by now." -Archie
My favorite restraunt, P.F. Chang's had an hour and a half wait, so we got to eat at Kanki which was fun as well, and I got groceries! woohoo, party at my place!

Apparently requests are being made for non-basketball related entries, so I'm going to see what I can come up with along those lines.
News Flash from Matt Lopatka: You can get Lacoste shirts on ebay for rock bottom prices; 5 shirts for 100 bucks, including shipping (that's 20 a shirt) which apparently is a bargain if you are into those "gator" shirts. Me personally, I'm not really into them, I don't see the point of buying shirts that are very simple golf/polo shirts for any price even if they are regularly 70bucks. But, I will say, eBay is amazing. (I tend to like things that start w/ a lower case letter and then a capital letter; iPod iMac iTunes eBay, you get the picture)
don't forget to vote for your favorite Super Bowl commercial: caccool15@hotmail.com
and go buy some pepsi so you can win your free songs
Trivia Question: Can anyone tell me what the "run-and-jump" defense is? Apparently Dean Smith may have come up with it.

Nebo33's Jam Of The Day: Outkast feat. Sleepy Brown- I can't wait
Nebo's intramural bball (Team Snigs) team is 1-0 so far, impressive showing in the first game, but I have a feeling that Pocket Aces would give them a run for their money.

DOES ANYONE WANT TO GO SEE LINKIN PARK AND HOOBASTANK WITH ME ON MARCH 2???????
Also, big game in Raleigh tomorrow. I'll be there to cheer on the Deacs against the Wolfpizzack. Ohhhh, and P.F. Chang's, I can't wait. No. 1 Chineese don't got nothing on P.F.C's.
Props Of The Day: Josh Howard, who was named to the all rookie team along w/ LeBron James, Carmello Anthony, Jarvis Hayes, Kirk Heinrich(sp), Dwane Wade, and a couple other rookies. Josh was the 39th, and final pick in the first round, so wouldn't you think that 38 players would wind up on this team before he would?? Hmmm, seems like a lot of teams missed out on a great player, a player that would start for a lot of NBA teams, I mean he has started 19 games for the loaded Mavs. Darko who?
Geez, I really should be doing work, but I hate doing work, and so I make the sacrifice for you, my loyal readers.
FSU beat GT today, can we call them a "force" yet? I think we can.
I'm going to try someting new: email me/ IM me with your votes for best super bowl commercial and I'll post the results over the weekend.

New Incubus and Kenny Chesney albums out today, Kanye West's debut album drops next tuesday. Word on the street is Jay-Z and Beyonce are getting married, so any of you who have been waiting for the right time to make the move on your dream girl/guy, you better hurry up.

Just as he was about to walk off the field at Reliant Stadium, Jake Delhomme stopped and forced himself to watch the Patriots celebrate after their 32-29 victory in Super Bowl XXXVIII.
"When I'm in the middle of two-a-days in training camp and I feel like whining about how hot it is, I want to keep on remembering what it looked like," the Panthers' quarterback said a little later. "I want to remember what it looks like."
QUOTE OF THE DAY.

Props Of The Day: The Carolina Panthers: John, Ricky, Steve, Jake, Moose, DeShaun, Stephen, Julius, all them men, great season, congratulations.
Jam Of The Day: Kanye West- Through The Wire
Best Super Bowl Commercials: The donkey wants to be a Budweiser Clydesdale. Also, the ref getting completely chewed out by his wife (I can't remember what product that was for though so it must not have been that good of a commercial). And, the Pepsi/iTunes commercial, all the kids charged with downloading music. Drink pepsi, get free music. Great idea. Oh, the choose to vote commercial was good too. (did anyone notice how many commercials The Champ was in last night?)
Pimp Of The Day: Justin Timberlake. Ok, so N'Sync was completely stupid and homo, but he has done alright for himself... he partied and recorded a video at the Playboy mansion with Nelly, he had dated a handful of the most beautiful/famous women in the country, and now he has gotten Janet naked by the end of that song. (PS Slut Of The Day: Janet Jackson, but still workin it).
Jessica Simpson: great performance at the halftime show, "choose to party" I wonder if Nick had to explain to her what the Super Bowl was.
John Kasay: WHY???????????
Nelly: nice bracelet. P-Diddy: nice necklace. Kid Rock: do you still miss Pamela??
It was a great game til John decided to kick the ball out of bounds and then the Panthers went into a soft WFU-like zone pass coverage scheme and Tommy Boy Brady picked it apart. Only losing QB to throw for 300+ yards and 3 TDs in the Super Bowl: Jake Delhomme.
Snowboarding tonight, CAN'T wait!
You've been great, thanks for your time.
