NEWS FLASH: Gary Williams has been known to take lots of young female maryland students out for dinner and drinks. Yes, I mean Coach Gary Williams. The dirty, sweaty, married, old man.
And also, apparently when they tell you that reynolds gym is open until 7pm all week, what they really mean is that its open until whenever the rent-a-cop working there decides to close it. So that means that on Saturday it closes at 6:20. SUPER, glad to see we are getting our money's worth. These rent-a-cops are so worthless.

I HATE LOSING! I don't care what it is, I hate losing. It just sucks.
1 point? And on Chris Paul's career night, I mean he was great, 30 pts and 9 assists, but that really doesn't matter if we lose, Levy and Big E played pretty well today too. Justin, where were you? I guess we just get used to Justin being amazing, and then when hes just good it seems sub-par. We really need to play defense. 86 points should be enough to win a game.
Interestingly enough, it turns out that an off duty or undercover cop or bodyguard shot himself in the butt mid-way through the second half right behind our bench. Maybe that's why we lost. Maybe the gunshot scared some of the players or coaches or something and rattled us. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
PS- Dear Roy, the ACC tournament is not a 'cocktail party' its the best conference tournament in the country and winning it is a great honor. Welcome back to the ACC, moron.
Baller Status: Neal Moody, bringing up the new vocab- Strigglepies, strigs, sonnels, sonz, and "that's dripping with wack juice" yeah, wack juice. It means that whatever you said/did was completely wack.
Props Of The Day: Jason Freuchtel. Getting the phone call from Tola, that chick from Coldstone in Greenville that he thought was fine. P.I.M.P. "whispa at your boy"
Overall, not a very eventful week, good to see everyone that I did see.
Shoutouts to: Moody, Raf, TK, Kevin, Walsh, Shep, and Jason.
Moody- We know that the Bond park ballers will be glad to see us go back to school. But that's ok, I like Reynolds gym better anyway.

UNC vs GT- next
NCSU vs. FSU- 7
WAKE vs. Maryland 9:30
let the greatest day in college basketball begin!

Friends don't have to agree on everything.
Josh Howard cut his lip and received 9 stitches tonight, get better J-Ho!
The ACC play-in game goes to overtime and UVa wins, lucky them, they get to play duke tomorrow.
WAKE vs. Maryland, 7pm.
First game starts at noon, the best conference tournament in America, don't miss it.
Also, Moody and I balled with some dudes who play college basketball at UNCG and NC A&T today, yeah we didn't exactly show them up, but hey we did win a game and we didn't play too bad. I mean Ronnie Taylor dropped a season high 27 pts on elon this year and Moody kept him in check today. Can a brotha get a scholarship?
Go Deacs!

Terrorism Is Cowardly
Is killing 190 innocent people on the subway on their way to work with bombs in backpacks a good way to make a religious or political point? The people behind this are cowards. It really pisses me off that they attack innocent civilians. Its one thing, (maybe a bad thing, but definitely a violent thing) to declare and go to war with a country, or even to overturn a government, but its an entirely different thing to kill almost 200 innocent people in another country because of their religious or political beliefs, or really because of anything for that matter. If al-queda is such a powerful force and are such badasses why don't they show themselves, stand up and say, "here we are, this is what we believe in, we are willing to fight you, bring it on." and stand up for their beliefs against those who oppose them. If they really thought it was noble or righteous to die for what they believe then the leaders would stand up and announce themselves and be willing to die for their beliefs.
Now I'm pissed.
On a lighter note, the ACC tournament starts tonight with the play-in game. For those of you who don't know the play-in game is between the two crappiest teams in the conference to determine who gets to play (lose to) Duke tomorrow. What an honor. This year clemson and virginia are playing. The real action starts tomorrow, arguably the best day in college basketball as there are 4 games (Wake vs. FSU at 7pm). If you are a sports fan, you don't want to miss tomorrow's action. When I was a kid we would bring radios and headphones to school so that we could listen to the games. We would have to run the headphones down our sleeves and prop our heads up on our hands just to hear the scores. It was wild stuff. That was before every 12 year old kid had a cell phone with the wireless internet to check scores and send text messages and what not. This was back in the day when you had to be dedicated to the tournament.
The only undefeated team in college basketball (St. Joe's) lost today, now they are 27-1, ha.
I mean they had the record, but who did they play?
Also, I was unable to eat at Baja Burrito today b/c apparently some wild ish went down in the top part of mission valley shopping center around 2pm today. Mad cops were out there, 5-0 all over the place. They had the whole parking lot and shopping center roped off in yellow tape. Good thing we didn't get there an half an hour earlier. Wack stuff goes down around NCSU.
My visit to ECU really wasn't as educational as my visit to UNC earlier in the year, but good times were had, just no lessons learned or mysteries solved or secrets revealed.
Go DEACS!

ATTENTION!!: Pocket Aces 1st round playoff game, MONDAY, MARCH 15th, Reynolds, 7pm! Be there.
so the guys at the cary rec center weren't exactly investment bankers on their lunch breaks... they were ballers, but that's ok, b/c thats how we roll too.
Check back tomorrow for a possible "what I learned at ECU" entry. POSSIBLE

Jam Of The Day: Lil' Troy- Wanna Be A Baller taking it back to Spring Break 2000 (SB2k) Cherry Grove, ADHS, good memories, good times. Has it really been 4 years since that trip? "20 inch blades on the impala" We've come a long way since then.

Good Film: School Of Rock
Tomorrow will mark my 2nd Annual spring break trip to ECU. This time I'm going to visit Raf, not Jack. Seems like they switched places. But I'm stoked for the trip.
Apparently there are less people staying in Raleigh for spring break than I realized... but that's ok, yall don't know what you are missing.
I feel like I'm getting old, playing basketball at the park w/ highschool kids... weird. Tomorrow we take on the investment bankers and whoever wants to bring it.
And GEEZ, what is up w/ all the new construction, I mean they can't just go and put a median in the middle of what used to be a lane on the road, I almost drove right over that junk.
Props Of The Day: Justin Gray, making the All-ACC First Team, "WHISPA At Your Boy"
ACC tournament starts on thursday w/ the play-in-game, but the real action starts on Friday, WAKE vs. Maryland 9pm.
Also, congrats to Jeff Capel, the youngest head coach in div I NCAA bball at VCU, and going to the big dance!
Cagney, if you read this, I wish you could be here for the tournament brother. We miss you in NC.
Keep Sticking It To The Man.

No way he is Sydney's father. So, Vaughn loves Sydney, big surprise there. How long is it going to take for him to discover that his wife is playing him like a nintendo.
I'm not usually a fan of red hair, but Lauren was looking hot with the red hair, although if I were Vaughn, I'd still go for Syd, of course. And apparently Ford has a big contract with Alias to get their cars in the show as much as possible. Sark is still a tool, he just can't help but be a tool, and he doesn't even get the girl for himself. Sucks to be Sark.
ALL NEW EPISODES FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON!!!!! you know where to find me on Sundays from 9-10pm.
It takes a lot longer to get from Winston to Raleigh when you drive slow... I thought I was going to fall asleep from the pure boredom, watching cars go zipping past me. I had to use the cruise control just to keep it slow. This is going to be a painful process.
Jam Of The Day: Kenny Chesney- Keg In The Closet
So, for the second year in a row I'm in Raleigh for spring break because my plans fell through, so if you are in Raleigh, hit me up.
