Check out the latest Sports Illustrated, with Pat Tillman on the cover.

Last page, The Life Of Reilly: The Hero and the Unknown Soldier by Rick Reilly.
Read it if you can.

"All day, in San Jose, the parents of late NFL star Pat Tillman were seeing their son get the kind of attention he would've hated: his face on CNN, teddy bear memorials, a tribute from the White house.
All day, in Bellaire, Ohio, the grandmother of former high school football star Todd Bates was living with a solitary ache she can barely describe: The boy she raised as her own came back from Iraq in a box, and nobody broke into a newscast to announce his death to the nation."
"Tillman died a hero and a patriot. But his death is a wake-up call to the nation that every day- more than 500 times since President Bush declared 'Major combat operations in Iraq have ended,' more than 800 times since the invasion of Afghanistan- a family must drive to the airport to greet their dead child. The only difference this time is that the whole country knew this child."
"Pat Tillman and Todd Bates were athletes and soldiers. Tillman wanted to be anonymous and becames the face of this war. Bates wanted to be somebody and died faceless to most of the nation."

Whether or not you think the war is justified, just glad that there are people like Todd Bates and Pat Tillman who are willing to stand up and fight for us, to protect us when our leaders call them to duty. The war may or may not be justified, and you may have an opinion on it, but don't take away from the courage, honor, and bravery of the young men and women who go to war on the front line. Without people like them we would not enjoy the freedoms that we do today. Thanks to all of the Todd Bates out there.

Only one more episode of Alias this season, and they are going to make me wait 3 weeks to see it. Yeah, 3 freakin weeks. But, it looks like lauren finally gets what she deserves, and syd comes around and goes out with me. Well, ok maybe not that last part.

So I watched the Kentucky Derby, and I still don't really understand the entire appeal of horse racing... Maybe its the hats and mint juleps.

Exams suck.

Have you seen the new 'Baller Bands' that nike is selling? Basically they are multi colored rubber bands that are thin, but about a centimeter wide and have a swoosh on one side and some word like respect or team or baller on the other side. Only nike could put their logo on rubber bands and sell them for $2 each.

Yo, Moody we should market 'Spoadie Bands' and put crap on them maybe we could sell them for $2 each. Or even some fake burberry bands or louis vitton bands or something.
Thanks nike, now I have my business plan, i can just drop out of school now and ride the 'Baller Band' phenomenon to riches.
If you want a customized 'Spoadie Band' or 'Showtime Band' put your request in now. Only $3 a band for customizations. (And specify your color)
ZANG IM GONNA GET RICH.
