Civil Rights are IMPORTANT
Bush looked confused in New Hampshire today... wait, he always looks confused.

Very Interesting... Go John Edwards!
Ok,
Halloween Party, My Place, Saturday (Oct 30) night. Wear Your Costume, bring $4.
Refreshments will be provided.
Oh, by the way, Richard Burr sucks. Don't vote for him.
Burr works for corporations and PACs, not for the people he "represents".
Burr has taken free trips to France, Spain, and the Bellagio Hotel in Vegas where special intrest groups not only paid for the trips, but his poolside drinks and a Swedish massage.
Consumer-slectronics makers paid for a $16,000 trip for Burr to Paris in 1999,
and in 1998 the Ripon Educational Fund paid for a $12,000 trip to Madrid. The Nuclear Energy Institute sent him to Paris, Marseilles, Barcelona, and Seville in 2001 and 2002. The National Association of Broadcasters sent him to Las Vegas in 2002. He went on 18 trips paid for by lobbyists in the past five years, six outside the U.S. and on eight of them his wife went with him.
Burr ranks first among members of the House in contributions from Political-action committees.
Burr pledged that he would take no more than 25% of his campaign cash from PACs, but so far 27% of his cash has come from those political-action committees. (Bowles on the other hand is willing to spend his own money, showing no allegience to the corporations who try to buy the election)
Shouldn't our Senators represent the people of North Carolina?
clearly the answer is yes. Clearly the choice is Erskine Bowles.
If Richard Burr is elected he will have lots of campaign debt to those PACs and corporations that form them, and you can bet they will expect to be repaid in one form or another...
