3 February 2005

3-0
Our record vs. Duke at home during my college career.
2-0
Our record vs. "the big three" this year (really vs the other big two)
So we've beat unc and dook, please tell me we are not a legit team now.
Eric Williams was at the office late again last night, the man has been DOING WORK the past 4 games.

Beat-Down of the day: going out to whoever stole my boy Neal Moody's jeep from right in front of his apartment. You just don't steal a man's ride from in front of his crib. You just better watch out, the Scallys are probably looking for you.

The PEN IZ Mightier was defeated by SigPi monday night for their first loss of the season. PEN IZ had trouble figuring out SigPi's zone defense, and fell behind early before coming back to take the lead mid way through the second half before falling behind again towards the end. PEN IZ switched to a zone themselves which was fairly effective, except for the 2 3pointers that SigPI BANKED in! Missed freethrows hurt PenIz, as several players had troubles at the line. Deez Larson led the team with a double double in blocks and rebounds. Savic had 9 points in the first half and was perfect from the field. He did not attempt a shot in the second half. Breen was off the mark from the outside most of the game, but was able to produce points going to the hole. Lopatka did not come out firing as usual, and the rest of the team had a hard time finding their shots. After opening the season with a 30 point win, PenIz is now 1-1 and 0-1 in the new jerseys. Game 3 next monday, 5pm, Reynolds gym.

The "Chicken and Porn" party last weekend was a hit... except that Beth had to go to the hospital b/c she tore a muscle in her stomach. The stripper was better looking than I expected, but I guess i don't have too much experience with strippers. Lots of drinks, not quite as much chicken, but a fun party. I will say, I thought NCSU kids were kinda sketchy, but ECU kids are even more sketchy (not all of you).

February One, a documentary about the 4 brave men who started the sit-in at the lunch counter in greensboro was on television tuesday night. I hope some of you got the chance to see it because it's a really cool documentary, and if you ever get the chance, watch it.

(Pictures to come)
