Ireland Is Awesome

The Calloway Business Tour ended yesterday morning, or may be even tuesday night in Munich, so i spent y esterday wasting time in Munich before leaving for Dublin. I arrived around 9:30pm local time. I was somehow able to get on the right bus and get off at the right stop for the (sketchy) hostel. Its really pretty straight. Today after getting lost trying to find the Stadium, we wen tto the old jail where many political criminals of the 1916 rebellion were held and executed, and we went to the Guinness Storehouse which was pretty cool except that a bartender intentionally overcharded Brian and I a euro each... bitch. we got our euro back and 3 free pints. don't fuck w/ us.

then after much bitching we finally found a place to eat... but they were out of fucking fish and chips... go figure. the steak pie was good.

then after resting up, and Brian packing we headed off to the Temple Bar area. After a pint at "The Temple Bar" Brian came back b/c he didnt feel well, and has to get up early. Kevin and I headed off to some other bar where we could recognize the music coming from inside. GREAT IDEA.

When we sat down we noticed about 10 very attractive girls sitting by themselves, having a good time. Turns out it was one of their birthdays, and they wanted us to give her a birthday kiss... another GREAT IDEA. No Problem. (0h yeah, there was some girl from wilmington/uncc there too.... we didnt talk to her for long)

so after i asked "where are you from", (and making a fool of myself) we found out these girls were IRISH, yes, Irish (and hot). So all of us took off down the street in search of this club. When we found it, turns out a couple of the ladies weren't quite old enough to get in, so we just headed to another club where we had drinks and danced for a few hours. The laides LOVED Kevin's UNC hat (which is ugly) and they kept tr ying to steal it, it reminded me of 8th grade flirting, but at a nightclub. Anyway, these girls actually LIKED the fact that we were American, they loved it, and they loved our IDs and our Passports. who knew??? I thought everyone hated Americans... not IRISH girls. So basically it was an awesome night, one of the most fun in all of Europe, mostly because locals that we didn't know really showed us a great time, and I think we gave them a great taste of American men. The rest of you can thank us later for improving our reputation with the Irish women. (and accordign to Kevin, they were "fucking beatiful'
