I know it's been awhile, but I'm back.
Let me start off by saying that the WFU basketball team is terrible.

Yesterday (February 1) was the anniversary of the Lunch Counter Sit In at the Woolworth's in Greensboro, where several couragous black students sat at the counter to protest the fact that they were not allowed service there.

More to come SOON about the new Republican budget cuts that are slashing socal programs for the poor by $40 billion to help pay for $90 billion in tax cuts for the rich, almost half of which will go to Americans whose incomes is above $1 million per year. These budget cuts called the "Deficit Reduction Act" will actuall cause a $50 billion increase in the deficit. Almost one third of the cuts, ($12.7 billion) will come from student loan programs while the rest will be from poor single moms, sick seniors foster parents and working poor. Nice job republicans, good thing Dick Cheney flew back from the other side of the globe to pass this shit by a 51-50 vote in the Senate.
