This is what is wrong with america today: liberalism is a theology based on the rejection of authority -- be it your parents, God, or government. don't let it ruin your relationships with the people that love you. i've seen it happen to so many kids in college -- they shut their parents (and God) out of their lives in their attempt to defend a wreckless lifestyle. they immediately embrace liberalism because liberalism doesn't "judge" them they think -- what they don't realize is that they are being used by the democratic party for political gain, and in the process condemning themselves via a lifestyle that doesn't help them in life. liberalism is a mental desease that prevents you from succeeding in life, and i'd hate to see that happen to anyone.
how can anyone believe shit like that? its stupid. i could counter that by telling you that conservativism is a type of brain washing and that the republican party is a cult, but i won't because part of being an educated American is respecting other people's views and opinions and thinking critically about things.
people like the bonehead who made the above statement give the republican party and conservatives a bad name, as if the war in iraq and the vice president shooting people wasn't enough.
