I've been saying for awhile what a rip-off bottled water is. Turns out that both Coke (Dasani) and PepsiCo (Aquafina) are just selling bottled tap water. Check out the Story. Not only that, but the imported waters like Evian are incredibly expensive to ship across the ocean, wasting thousands of gallons of oil and gasoline while polluting our planet. Once those waters are consumed, most of the plastic bottles wind up in a landfil, not recycled. Do your wallet and your planet a favor, and instead of buying expensive bottled water simply purchase a Brita Filter Pitcher and a reusable water bottle like a nalgene, and bottle your own water with out the waste.

I think you missed the point.. bottled water is convenient. Having to fill your own water bottle up isn't.
lots of stuff is convenient, but that doesn't mean we just do it whenever we want. For example robbing convenient stores is, well, convenient, but we don't do it b/c there is more harm than good in it. Thats what I'm saying about bottled water.
Somehow I think there is a logical fallacy in your counter-argument to my claim that bottled water is convenient. I think it has something to do with the legality of bottled water.
