ATTENTION ALL BALLERS: there will be a basketball game tomorrow around 2pm. Time is tentative, and location is still to be decided, any ideas for good courts, let me know. Currently, grand slam is looking like the best bet. But if you want to play, hit me up, gonna be a tight game.
Jam Of The Day: Jeremiah Freed- Again (try to DL it, good band, good song)
Today I played tennis w/ the man formerly known as Mr. President, none other than Brian P. Walsh. After 11 games or so he decided that he no longer liked tennis, that it just wasn't fun anymore. That sucks. (Showtime was leading 6-5 at the time)

its 3am, I can't sleep. Tried, can't. Weird, this NEVER happened at school... and this is the 3rd time since ive been home. Coincidence, I think not.
Apparently there was a party in chapel-thrill tonight that several of my friends went to, and none of them let me know about it... cool.
So there are rumors going around among some of my friends (who prolly got the idea from other people, maybe even in other states) that there is going to be a Kill Bill Vol. 3 and maybe a Vol 4. They say that at the end of Vol 2. There is a 'preview/trailer' for vol. 3. Well i stayed til almost the end of the credits and didn't see this. I did see the ? Over Darryl Hannah's name or her character's name, whichever, but that didn't make me think there was gonna be a 3rd movie. Now logic would say since the movies are called "Kill Bill" and Bill is killed at the end of the 2nd movie that there is not going to be a 3rd or 4th movie. This was my argument when told of the supposed 3rd movie. But, b/c i can't sleep, I Googled such a topic as "kill bill vol 3" and found some interesting info. Quentin Tarrentino (sp) was quoted in Entertainment Weekly as saying that he wants to make a third movie... in 15 years, and that the star of that would be Vivica A. Fox's daughter in the movie who seeks revenge on the bride for killing her mom. Now there is question as to whether Q was serious or only kidding. Either way, a kill bill vol. 3 is not around the corner, and my bet is that it will never come to fruition. AND Q never mentioned a 4th volume, so all of you out there who listen to rumors and try to read things into the stuff after the credits... don't hold your breath. Glad I could put that little rumor to bed... Now maybe I can get some sleep.

As you can see, there was some Big Pimpin going on at the Cheesecake Factory, Crabtree Mall, Raleigh NC last night, and now we have proof.

Kevin updated the EuroBlog today. Check out the link over in my link's list, sounds like he is having a good time. Kevin's theme for Europe: There are no rules. Sounds kinda like raleigh... FALSE.
So today not only do I have a dentist apt. but my mom left me another one of those AWESOME to do lists on the kitchen table. This list is even more fun than the last one, instead of mowing the yard, she wants me to clean the downstairs bathroom toilet and get spots off the carpet on the stairs... who signed me up for this? Can I move into my apartment NOW? Maybe this is their way of telling me to find a job...

Running Tennis Tally:
Showtime vs. TK today: I win 6-0 6-0, avenging last week's one set loss to TK.
TERRIBLE NEWS:
Alias season 3 will not be coming to ABC in the fall. This is BAD.
BUT ABC is not canceling the show (thank goodness, that would be stupid) they are just going to start the 3rd season in January and have some crappy show in the fall instead. The only good thing about this is that they will not show reruns every few weeks during the season, new episodes every week.
But what am I going to do first semester, my Sunday evenings will be totally devoid of anything to look forward to. Schoolwork on a Sunday night. BLEH.
Give me more Alias.

I FINALLY saw 13 going on 30 tonight. Yes, I know, its a chick flick, oh well.
Jennifer Garner is AMAZING. WOW. BEAUTIFUL. The movie wasn't bad either.
So I'm (kinda) trying to look for a job this week. I really need one because I am pretty much broke. AND I still have a court date for my speeding ticket which has not yet been resolved, and the lawyer alone is going to be $200, so yeah I need a well-paying job ASAP. Any ideas? I wish I could get paid to publish a crappy website/journal/column (like this one).
HOLLA FRONT.

Jam Of The Day: G-Unit (Lloyd Banks)- Smile. even the gorilla unit has a soft side. is he singing that to his girl or his g-u-n?
So I got back from my run and checked the mail... 2 whole things for me! First I got my bling bling iced out rocawear earrings, and a big envelope from the Calloway School of Business..... remember that accounting 112 final exam that i thought I did really well on, well enough to get an A? Well, now I know why i didn't get an A. I guess 79% (106 pts) doesn't quite cut it. Thanks ramsey. And that 106 was including the 20 point bonus which I got right, damn good thing there was a bonus. I'll take my B and know that I represented and that ramsey didn't learn my name until the very last day, and I'm not even sure if he knew it then or if he looked at my test first. Here is a bonus question for accounting:
True or False: Thomas Ramsey is a cool guy and a good teacher. FALSE

50 Years ago today, the U.S. Supreme Court handed down one of its biggest decisions in history. Chief Justice Earl Warren wrote, "We conclude that in the field of public education the doctrine of 'separate but equal' has no place," The ruling on May 17, 1954 in the case of Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas ended segregation in public schools. The decision may have taken as many as ten years to become effective in some parts of the state, but 50 years later we have all been effected by this decision in some way, and we should all be thankful that Earl Warren and the other justices were able to make the right decision, even in the face of controversy.
50 years after this landmark decision, things are much different, but discrimination and racism still exist and we still need to work to them to an end. That challenge falls on all of us, let us not let the hard work of those people like Thurgood Marshall (who argued the NAACP's case in Brown v. Board) be for naught.
Quote Of The Day: "Even in this sport the way it is today, where there's a lot of responsibility on the drivers, it still comes down to getting paid to do something that you probably shouldn't get paid to do." - Dale Earnhardt Jr. keeping it in perspective, even after winning his third race of the year and padding his point lead over Jimmie Johnson.
